The entire club training program is open to any of Warrington Running Club Members (WRC Tri members must also be a member of the running club to be eligible.) Most of the sessions are included within your membership any extra costs will be shown in the session details.

Club Muster Runs

Every Monday and Thursday club runs start from Seven Woods car park, but please park at the Odeon and walk over prior to the start at 7pm with time to sign in. There will be committee members available from 6.30pm to answer any questions you may have.  

These are the standard Club groups but sometimes groups will be combined dependent on numbers and leaders available. The distances may also vary dependent on the route chosen on the day.

Whites – 12Km – <7 min/mile - <4:21

Primrose – 10-12Km – 7-8 min/mile 4:21-4:58 min/km

Green –  10Km – 8-9 min/mile - 4:58-5:36 min/km

Blue –  8-10Km – 9-10 min/mile - 5:36-6:13 min/km

Purple -  7-9Km – 10-11 min/mile - 6:13-6:50 min/km

Red –  6-8Km – 11-12min/mile - 6:50-7:25 min/km

Orange -  5-7Km – 12-14 min/mile - 7:27-8:42 min/km

Mid Month Mashup

These sessions take place from club HQ with the regular group times been expanded by 30 seconds to enable members to try the next group without the pressure.

Run and Talk

Sessions are held monthly with the aim to encourage Communication and enjoyment without the stress of times and distances. This is also the place to open up to any mental health issues that you are currently dealing with.

Venue – Usually at David Lloyd or 7 Woods car park.
Time – inline with the club run

XC Training

Sessions start again later in the year

There is parking along the stone wall on London Road, Delphfields, or Lyons Lane (please be curtious though as they are residential roads )During the Winter Months cross country training will take place at Broomfield and consist of 1 Mile loops and catering for all abilities. Although road shoes should be ok most of the sessions it is advisable to wear trail or spikes. It is also compulsory to wear head / Chest torch and to wear bright clothing.

Hill Sessions

The hill sessions are held at different locations local to warrington and details will be posted on the facebook group along with the meeting time. These sessions are great for building strength and stamina to aid speed and endurance.  

Track

Need to burn extra calories? Why not come to the track session on Wednesday night during the summer with your hosts James & Erika. Open to all abilities with a different session plan each week

Venue : Padgate Campus, Crab Lane, WA2 0DB,
Time : 6:50pm for a prompt 7pm start.

The club arranges several away days throughout the year usually aiming at one group at a time. These will be run instead of the specified group colour on a muster run night. These will be advertised on the facebook page.
