The club has announced  the introduction of a parkrun championships which will take effect from 1st April 2019.

The idea of the championship is the more you run or volunteer at parkrun , the more points you get towards your championship total. Extra points are awarded for getting a new PB so an incentive to keep improving. If you are injured, you can still get points by supporting parkrun as a volunteer.

Scoring is as follows :
Running = 10 points
Volunteering inc junior parkruns= 10 points (you will only receive points for either running OR volunteering – NOT both i.e. if you are Tailwalker)

Club designated parkrun Away Days:
Running = 20 points
Volunteering = 20 points

parkrun tourism: (20miles radius away from HQ )
Running = 20 points
Volunteering = 20 points

If you achieve a PB at parkrun on any week, you will get +25 points but it must be an all time parkrun PB irrespective of course.

If you don’t have your barcode and an official time then its 0 points for that run.

All members taking part must have “Warrington Running Club” set as their club on their parkrun profile. If we can’t find you, you don’t get the points.
